A Heart That Beat Beyond Borders: Reviving the Spirit of Umar ibn Abdul Azīz A Ruler Who Felt Every Cry, Near and Far We were once led by men whose hearts beat for the entire Ummah, men like Umar ibn Abdul Azīz (رحمه الله) who emptied treasuries to free Muslim prisoners, who cared for every Muslim beyond borders and politics. Today, we are drowning under leaders who only see flags, thrones, and their own survival. Read this article and remember what true leadership looks like and why the Ummah’s heart must be revived before we are forgotten from history. 💻 Al-Harakah Team Read Full Article & Subscribe https://alharakah.substack.com/p/a-heart-that-beat-beyond-borders

Prepared by Delay, Blessed by Patience “In life, we long and we plead for blessings we have not yet received, raising hands in sincere Du’ā for them. But Allāh, in His perfect wisdom, withholds what we ask, not to hurt us, but because our hearts may not yet be ready to carry the weight of the blessing. Trust in His Decree. What is delayed is not denied; it is being prepared for you, and you are being prepared for it.” Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

See the Blessings Beyond the Loss “Sometimes we are tested, and our hearts ache with what we lose. But do not let one hardship blind you to the countless blessings still wrapped around your life. Allāh reminds us: you could never count His favours, even if you tried. So when a door closes, look around, you are still surrounded by His endless mercy.” Allāh says: “…if you tried to count the favours of Allāh, you could never enumerate them. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.” (16:18) Abū Ismā’īl 🖊️ https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Is Your Money Serving You or Enslaving You? Imām Ibn ul-Qayyim said: “When there is money in your hand and not in your heart, it will not harm you even if it is a lot; and when it is in your heart, it will harm you even if there is none in your hands.” [Madārij al-Sālikīn | 1/463] Action plan: Thank Allāh deeply, even for the smallest provision. When the Crescent Fades, Let Mercy Remain "The same Ummah that bled in Ramadān still bleeds today. The bombs didn’t stop. The hunger didn’t end. The cries still echo. Yet many of us gave only in Ramadān. But what about now? The suffering continued, even grew, while our hands pulled back. Their pain is still our pain. Their wounds are still our wounds. Don’t be a people whose mercy has an expiry date. Be a people whose hearts stay open, even when the moon has set." 🕌 *DONATE NOW!!* *Islamic School – Afghanistan:* https://www.launchgood.com/v4/campaign/madrasahafghanistan

Backbiting [Ghībah] The Worst Type of Generosity Imām Ibn Taymīyyah said: "The worst type of generosity is being generous in gifting your good deeds to others due to backbiting, tale-carrying, lying, swearing and insulting [the believers]." See Majmū Fatāwa [8/303] “Do not sit among those who tear into the flesh of the absent for Allāh likens backbiting to eating the dead meat of your brother. Beware, for once they have feasted on another’s name, your name will be the next morsel in their mouth. At the first whisper of backbiting, rise and leave, shield your deeds by refusing to feed on slander.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Beautiful Words Mean Nothing If You Stay Silent When It Matters "Don’t be fooled by polished speeches or shelves full of book
Beautiful Words Mean Nothing If You Stay Silent When It Matters "Don’t be fooled by polished speeches or shelves full of books. Anyone can speak eloquently when there’s no risk. The true inheritor of the Prophet ﷺ is the one who speaks the truth without fear, who stands against injustice when others hide behind diplomacy and comfort. We now know why the most beloved Jihād to Allāh is a word of truth in the face of a tyrant ruler. [Sunan al-Nasā’ī] We don’t need more refined speech, we need hearts that fear Allāh more than they fear losing comfort, status, or followers. May Allāh preserve all the scholars who rise for the truth, even when it’s not safe to do so." 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

If You Won’t Rise, Allāh Will Replace You وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓاْ أَمۡثَٰلَكُم “If you turn away, He will replace you with another people, then they will not be like you.” (Qur’ān 47:38) "If we turn away and do nothing for our Ummah, know that Allāh does not need us. With the next blowing of the wind, He can replace us with a people who will rise, who will give, who will speak, and who will not fear the blame of the blamers. Don’t think for a second that you are irreplaceable. The honour is in serving this Dīn, don’t let it pass you by." 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Khutbah Template: Echoes of the Minbar: Speaking the Truth as the Prophet ﷺ Did Let the Friday khutbah echo the cries of the people of Gaza and carry the weight of their struggle. When the Prophet ﷺ stood on the Minbar, his eyes would turn red, his voice rose, and his passion intensified, like a commander warning of an imminent attack. He didn't whisper the truth, he declared it. He awakened hearts, shattered silence, and called the Ummah to action. This is the Sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ. And today, Gaza deserves nothing less. Share with our Imāms, teachers and students of knowledge. 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl

History Will Remember the Few Who Stood, Not the Many Who Watched “The true workers of this Ummah are a small minority within a small minority, yet the victory Allāh grants them is as if they were a million strong. In Islām, success is not measured by numbers but by the sincerity of hearts and the willingness to sacrifice. Let us be from that few who stand, act, and support the Ummah today, so that history remembers us as those who did not watch, but who rose when the call was made.” 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

The Ummah is Bleeding — If You Don’t Stand Today, You Never Will "When the Ummah is bleeding, our Khutbahs should not be business as usual. Our talks, our discussions, our gatherings must revolve around how to support, how to act, how to uplift. This is not the time for debates or distractions. It’s the time to unite, to strategise, to give, and to cry out to Allāh together. When part of the Ummah is in pain, the entire body must respond as one. Give everything, your wealth, your voice, your Du'ā’. Use every platform to raise awareness. If we cannot stand with them in Gaza, let us stand for them with everything we have." Do Not Die While You Are Still Alive, Live with Purpose ”Many ask, ‘How can I help revive the Ummah?’ The real question is, how can we not? Each of us has a skill, a strength, a passion that can serve this Ummah and bring us closer to Allāh. Yet too often, we fall into the trap of living just for the sake of living, repeating the same routine, lost in the Dunya, disconnected from our true purpose. Be the reason communities are built and lives are transformed. No effort is too small when done for Allāh’s sake. "Do not walk through life as if you are already dead, existing without purpose, drifting without meaning. Live with intention, serve with passion, and strive for something greater than yourself 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Stay with the Qur’ān, Let the Battle Begin! "Ramadān may have passed, but the Qur’ān remains, waiting for us to hold on tighter than before. A great sign that our worship was accepted is not in what we did during Ramadān, but in what we continue after it. So don’t slow down, race towards the Qur’ān with even more passion. Read it, reflect on it, and live by it. Let it be the light that guides us long after the nights of Tarawīh have faded. And let the devils return to us in despair, struggling to pull us away from the Qur’ān, because this time, we are stronger, and we will not let go!" 🖊️ Abū Ismā'īl 📚 https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Rulings Related To Fasting The 6 Days of Shawwāl After Ramadān Allāmah Shaykh Abdur Rahmān Ibn Nāsir Al-Barrāk Abū Ayyūb Al-Ansāri narrated that The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever fasts during the month of Ramaḍān and then follows it with six days of Shawwāl will be [rewarded] as if he had fasted the entire year." Sahīh Muslim (no. 1164). Q: The ruling on fasting 6 days in Shawwāl? ❖ It is Sunnah to fast 6 days in the month of Shawwāl and is not obligatory. Q: Should I make up my obligatory fasts [i.e. due to menses or travelling] first before the 6 fasts of Shawwāl? ❖ The obligatory fasts of Ramaḍān that are owed [missed due to a valid excuse] should be performed before the 6 fasts of Shawwāl. Making up obligatory fasts takes priority over doing actions that are recommended . Q: When to make the Intention for fasting? ❖ The intention can be made any time in the day as long one has not eaten or drank [or had sexual relations]. Q: Is it a condition to fast the 6 days of Shawwāl one after the other [consecutively]? ❖ No, it is allowed to fast the 6 days separately throughout the month of Shawwāl and not consecutively. Q: Is it better to fast the 6 at the beginning or ending of the month of Shawwāl? ❖ The scholars differed on what is better, but the default in doing good deeds is to hasten to perform them [i.e. fast the 6 straight away]. Q: Can you combine intentions with the 6 of Shawwāl and other Sunnah days to fast? ❖ It is allowed to combine intentions when fasting Shawwāl. E.g. one can fast on Monday [Sunnah day to fast] and have the intention to fast 1 of the 6 of Shawwāl and hope to be rewarded for both Sunnah days. Q: If you miss the 6 fasts of Shawwāl for a specific reason [i.e. due to travelling or being on menses] can you perform it in the following month? ❖ If the 6 fasts of Shawwāl are missed for any valid reason by a man or woman it can be performed in the following month of Dhul Qa’dah. May Allāh accept our fasts and make us sincere. 🌙 Rulings of Zakāh Al-Fitr Made Easy Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz ibn Marzūq aṭ-Ṭarīfī Who should pay Zakāh Al-Fitr? ❖ It is obligatory on all males and females. Each individual should pay for themselves. if not possible then the guardian can pay on behalf of everyone he is in charge of [even children]. ❖ It is recommended [not Wājib] to give Zakāh Al-Fitr for the foetus in the mothers womb. What is meant to be given? ❖ It is meant to be given in the form of a staple food that is custom to that land like rice or flour. Can you give cash? ❖ It is not reported from the Prophet ﷺ or the companions that they ever gave money [cash]. ❖ It is allowed to send the value of the food in cash for that to be used to buy the food and then distributed to the poor. Where should Zakāh Al-Fitr be given? ❖ It is more appropriate to give it to the poor in one’s own country. However if there is a more needy country then it can be sent abroad. When should it be given? ❖ The best time to give it is between the Fajr and Eīd Prayer. ❖ It is allowed to pay the Zakāh Al-Fitr in advance by a day or two as been reported by the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. ❖ It is incorrect to pay it after the Eīd Prayer.
