Individual selfishness and alienation were significant causes in Iran's failure to achieve its Middle Eastern development aspirations, despite its talent and resources. That is, regardless of existing credentials or resources, each group and party that rose to power followed its party's aims. Iran will be on the path to progress when it can harness the ability of all people to improve their circumstances, regardless of religious or factional beliefs. Let us remember that the economy comes first.

"The implementation and stringent enforcement of mandatory copyright law for all software within Iran are posited to significantly stimulate the development and expansion of the domestic software industry. It is anticipated that such legislative measures will foster an environment conducive to innovation and consequently lead to the creation of substantial and skilled employment opportunities. Furthermore, a robust copyright framework is considered essential for safeguarding the intellectual property rights of software developers, thereby ensuring fair remuneration and recognition for their creative endeavors, which in turn can incentivize further development. Conversely, considerable concerns exist regarding the prevalence and use of unlicensed or 'cracked' software. This practice is widely perceived as detrimental, potentially undermining the economic viability of legitimate software enterprises and discouraging investment in original software creation.

🔹Let's get to know Iranian experts. Parvaneh Pourshariati taught at the Universities of Michigan and the University of Massachusetts, and subsequently at the Ohio State University/Columbus, this last for 14 years. In 2014 Pourshariati joined the New York City College of Technology/CUNY. Her major work, Decline and Fall of the Sasanian Empire, has been translated into Persian (4th print), as well as Arabic.
