💡 Memory Tip:

🔹 Past Continuous Tense (زمان گذشته استمراری)
1️⃣ تعریف:
برای بیان کاری که در زمانی مشخص در گذشته در حال انجام بوده استفاده میشود.
2️⃣ ساختار:
✅ مثبت:
Subject + was/were + Verb-ing
❌ منفی:
Subject + was/were + not + Verb-ing
❓ پرسشی:
Was/Were + Subject + Verb-ing ?
3️⃣ مثالها:
I was studying when you called. 📞
They were watching TV at 8 last night. 📺
She wasn’t sleeping when the alarm rang. ⏰
4️⃣ کاربرد در زبان عمومی:
برای توصیف دو عمل همزمان در گذشته:
> While I was cooking, he was setting the table. 🍽️
5️⃣ در آزمونها:
🔸 کنکور: تشخیص بین گذشته ساده و گذشته استمراری.
Example: When I saw him, he was running. (نه ran)
🔸 ارشد/دکتری: برای بیان موقعیتها یا زمینهها در پژوهشهای گذشته.
