﷽  Salaat ul Jumua Today at 1:22 PM ___ يوم الجمعة لأمر الدين و السؤال عنه بإسناده عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ الْخَزَّازِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: ... وَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ أُفٍّ لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ أَنْ لاَ يُفَرِّغَ  نَفْسَهُ فِي الْأُسْبُوعِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لِأَمْرِ دِينِهِ فَيَسْأَلَ عَنْهُ. (الخصال ج ۲، ص ۳۹۳‌‌) Abu Abdillah (A) said: أُف for a Muslim who doesn't make himself available on Friday of each week for the matters of his religion and to inquire about it. ﷽ ❗Lunar Eclipse/Salat ul Ayaat Today, Thursday, August 27, 2026 🌓A partial lunar eclipse is being observed in Houston now for the next couple of hours. Therefore, anyone who becomes aware of the eclipse while it is happening, must pray Salat ul Ayaat before the eclipse ends. In this case, if he/she didn't do it during the eclipse time, Qadaa becomes obligatory. We humbly advise momineen to pray salat ul ayaat any time between now and 12:51 AM Houston time. ___ Note: Since the eclipse is partial, and if one didn't pray during the eclipse time, then: 1. If someone wasn't aware of the eclipse either before nor during its occurrence, then it is not obligatory to do Qadaa of Salat ul Ayaat. 2. If a person was aware of the eclipse beforehand, but didn't pay attention to the eclipse while it was happening, then Qadaa has to be performed as an obligatory precaution.
