I must sincerely apologise to the one and only Limbada “I am not a bogus person – I have Ijazah” Abu Naumaan for having failed to mention him earlier. So here goes: Limbada Abu Naumaan CANCELLED IN THE EYES OF THE HUNDRED MOLVIS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFqt9-_pVUk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFqt9-_pVUk&t=560s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnT8h7JvuxM

Who are these 100 signatories fooling? The public can obviously see the contradiction - they're not stupid. With such absurd fatawa coming out, they are fast-tracking themselves to cancel their own traditionalist fraternity. But because they're so blind in their sectarianism, they think the full force of a statement signed by Hundred Molvis is applicable only to outsiders, like Akram Nadwi in Oxford or some institute like Ebrahim College.

A translation of the following paragraphs from the now already infamous Orwellian ‘Hundred Molvis’ statement by the self-appointed morality police: Mixing of men and women (ikhtilat) without shar’i necessity is prohibited in Islam. It is considered to be from the dangerous sins. Actions that comprise of such mixing include men looking at non-mahram women/non-spouses, taking pictures with them, and teaching and lecturing them without a barrier. Those who publicly carry out these sorts of acts are considered to be transgressors in the Shariah and are subject to specific rulings. This is why our mosques and institutes must avoid promoting those who perpetrate the crime of unnecessary mixing and must not grant them platforms to speak. What follows is a sample of said transgressors (dead or alive) they want to cancel from all mosques and institutes - because charity begins at home, doesn’t it? اکرم ندوی صاحب اور ان جیسوں کا نمبر بہت بعد میں آتا ہے - ذرا غور فرمائے

Repost from The East Wind
الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، To express this concept in a way that is more illustrative and less abstract, we'll try to take a subject (try to guess which one) and explain the logical underpinnings in a series of posts. Here goes: As humans, we learn things in various ways. We hear some things, we see others, we read, listen, smell, et cetera. What we gather from those senses we are able to process with our intellect to deduce further knowledge contained in this raw information. However, we cannot see and hear everything that happens. We can't travel everywhere in the world or see every occurrence that happens. Even if we could, we can't time-travel backwards to meet people that lived in different eras. So what do we do to fill that gap? Well, we ask other people to share the information that they have seen or heard (or perceived in other ways). Let's use a small example: You missed a meeting at work. You need to know what was said by your boss, and more importantly, your supervisor. What do you do? Naturally, you ask someone else who attended the meeting. But do you ask just anyone, or do you have some things to look out for? I don't think you'd disagree that the first person you'd avoid is that co-worker that is competing with you for the next promotion. You know that he'd be only too happy to give you a false report so that you miss opportunities that he wants for himself. In other words, you have no guarantee that he is being honest with you. He isn't trustworthy. No, you need someone who will truthfully relay to you the contents that you missed. There you go, your first condition: trustworthiness. We'll continue this...
