New tahqiq just dropped from Allamah Fawzan. Throw away all your Usul al Fiqh books. The daleel, it turns out, is clear...

I once did some work for a Breilvi publisher. Sometime later I got an email from a Deobandi asking if I would help on a project. I told him I was open to the idea. Ten minutes later the "Deo" emailed back telling me to fear Allah because the Deos are kuffar. He was a Breilvi pretending to be a Deo to play gotcha and expose me for being Sullah-kulli. 🤷‍♂️

Not saying this email is necessarily fake, but certain circles have a track record of faking emails to trap people. Here’s an anecdote below:

LOL. Trying to pretend to be important by suggesting people are emailing them. A common tactic. There’s more chance of them emailing this to themselves rather than any of the admin here wanting to engage with those geocentrists. My advice to them remains that they retreat in peace and stick to what they are supposed to do.

Also, a few days ago someone from the 'Knowledge revival' (lol) telegram group emailed me wanting to talk about having a respectful discussion about Imam Ahmad Rida Khan. So they can lie, slander and abuse Imam Ahmad Rida Khan and Barelvis publicly but they want to discuss behind the scenes in private? Where's all this courage and bravery gone? If they want to be consistent, allow comments to be turned on their telegram channel or tweet their criticism about Imam Ahmad Rida Khan and they will get replies and will be exposed for being ignorant. You started it in public, finish it in public aswell. Allow replies on your telegram or tweet your criticism. Don't email me and ask for a private discussion.

Not all Salafis are like this. There ate many intelligent Salafis who cringe in embarassment at the faux pas of Fawzan. However, all over the world there are Salafi members of this personality cult who revere this man and others like him even though they have no significant contribution to scholarship to their name and seem to lack even basic comprehension of many of the issues they discuss.

أرأيتم يا أهل غزة كم رأينا من بؤس وشدة في هذه الأيام الثقال ؟! غداً عند أول غمسة في الجنة ستزول كلها ولن تذكروا منها شيئاً، فعندما يسألكم ربكم كما جاء في الحديث الصحيح؛ هل رأيتم بؤساً قط، هل رأيتم شدة قط ؟! ستقولون ؛ لا والله يارب، ما رأينا بؤساً قط، ما رأينا شدة قط !! اللهم اجعل عاقبة صبرنا جنة عرضها السماوات والأرض !!

The stupidity of Fawzan is really limitless, bi la kayf wa la ma'na.
