After the latest Piers interview with a Muslim doctor in the NHS, regardless of this doctor's religio-political views, it is crystal clear than Piers Morgan is not interested in learning about the plight of Palestinians. He is instead more concerned about his own ratings and how many anti-Palestinian concessions he can get out of conservative Muslims. It's all a game for him. Had he truly listened to Gabor Mate, Norman Finklestein, Izzeldin Abuelaish, Mustafa Barghouti, Bassem Yousaf and others, he would not be pursuing a provocative line of questioning with pro-Palestinians voices. Yet he continues to do so. He behaves like a spoilt child. I don't feel his platform is the right one anymore for any Muslim voice to be heard, except diplomats and the Bassem Yousaf/Andrew Tate type. Otherwise, we conservative Muslims would be better off with a largely non-Muslim pro-Palestinian voice on his platform. Piers has an allergic reaction to Muslims. He's a troll. We need to stop feeding him.

عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه في المجاعة : - أخر الصدقة عام الرمادة عاما ، فلما ذهبت المجاعة ، استرد منهم الصدقة عن عامهم وعام الرمادة . - منع النكاح في المجاعة ، خشية أن يكون الإنكاح طلبا للمال أو الطعام ، لا طلبا لما فيه صالح البنت . - أسقط حد السرقة ، لطروء شبهة الاضطرار ، وهو حكم اتفق عليه الأئمة الأربعة ، ونص عليه الإمام أحمد موافقا للمروي عن عمر رضي الله عنه . ( والراجح عندي ثبوت هذا الفقه عن عمر رضي الله عنه ) . - كتب إلى عماله في الأمصار بنجدة عرب الجزيرة . - استضاف آلاف الأسر في المدينة ، يطعمهم بنفسه ومن معه من الصحابة . - حرم على نفسه اللحم والسمن ولين الطعام ، حتى يطعمه المسلمون ، وكان طعامه القليل من الشعير فقط ، حتى اسود لونه وظنه من رآه أسمر ، وكان أبيض اللون مشربا بحمرة . وحتى قيل إن بعض أصحابه قالوا : لو زادت المجاعة عن تلك السنة لمات عمر ؛ همًّا بأمر المسلمين . - وامتنع عن ركوب دابته ؛ لكي لا يضطرها إلى أكل الشعير ، الذي أصبح من طعام الناس . كل هذه الإجراءات الاستثنائية ، والأحكام الطارئة ، والجهد الهائل ، ثم بعد انكشاف المجاعة ، لما شكره رجل بعبارة واحدة ، قائلا له : لم تكن فيها بابن ثأداء ، أي لم تكن عاجزا ، غضب عمر من هذا الثناء ، وضربه بالدِّرة [بكسر الدال ، لا بضمها] ! رضي الله عن تلك الدرة ، كم من رأس ستضرب اليوم !! وهل ستكفي الدرة وحدها ؟!
