Looking at my old classmates accounts, seeing them live a life that’s so different from mine—despite the fact that there used to be a time where I used to share a desk with them, remembering that there used to be a time where I related to their struggles, where I shared their hatred for certain teachers that I now recall with fondness. Seeing old shops that I used to frequent in the background of their posts, knowing that I won’t be able to visit those shops in the near future. Wanting to catch up with them but hesitating because it’s far too little and too late now. Watching old friends move on with their lives all while knowing that there wasn’t a day that hadn’t gone by where I didn’t think of them, where I didn’t search for a semblance of them in the people that I see everyday
