Announcement!!
We are seeking sisters who are able to assist with translations for the Salafi Women Channel.
We have valuable naseeḥah (advice) from our noble Shaykh, Abū ʿAbdir-Raḥmān Ramaḍān Al-Hubayshee (حفظه الله), and we are looking for sisters who can help translate this beneficial content.
A dedicated email salafiwomen4@gmail.com
address has been set up exclusively for sisters who wish to volunteer and assist with this effort.
May Allaah reward you abundantly for contributing to the spread of beneficial knowledge.
https://t.me/Salafiwomen4
Set aside a regular time for teaching your children, reading with your family, revising the Qur'aan, studying the Sunnah, or reminding one another of beneficial knowledge. Even if the amount is small, let it be continuous and consistent.
The deeds most beloved to Allaah are those which are done regularly, even if they are little.
Do not allow the distractions of daily life to sever you from this responsibility. There will always be obstacles, busy schedules, moments of fatigue, and unforeseen difficulties. Yet the one who pushes through these distractions seeking the reward of Allaah will, by His permission, see the fruits of that effort in this life and the next.
Therefore, when trials come, do not measure your success by how you feel in a particular moment. Rather, measure it by your ability to continue upon obedience despite those feelings. A bad day does not define you. A moment of weakness does not define you. What defines a believer is that he returns to Allaah, seeks His aid, renews his intention, and continues walking upon the path of goodness.
The strongest people are not those who never struggle. Rather, they are those who continue striving for Allaah's sake despite their struggles, seeking His help, relying upon Him, and hoping for His reward.
Steadfastness is not the absence of hardship; rather, it is remaining firm upon the truth while hardship is present.
«"And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty
(death)."
[Al-Hijr: 99]»
May Allaah make us from those who remain steadfast upon goodness, patient during trials, sincere in our intentions, and firm upon the Sunnah until we meet Him. Ameen.

Bare on My Plate, Carrying a Heavy Load
From the greatest signs of sincerity is that a servant continues upon goodness, obedience, and beneficial work for the sake of Allaah regardless of what befalls him.
A believer may experience days of weakness, sadness, self-doubt, or a lack of confidence.
At times he may feel burdened by his thoughts, his circumstances, or the trials that surround him.
This is not something exclusive to a particular type of person; rather, it affects both men and women, the strong and the weak, the scholar and the student.
Some people conceal their struggles behind a strong appearance, while others openly seek help and advice. Depending on the situation, either approach may be praiseworthy or blameworthy.
What matters is sincerity, wisdom, and seeking Allaah's aid in every affair.
The believer should ask himself: Why am I doing what I am doing? Is it for Allaah or for the praise of the people? Am I continuing because I seek His Face, or because I seek acceptance from the creation?
When these questions are answered sincerely, they become a source of strength and steadfastness.
The trials of the heart are not something new.
The Prophets, the Companions, the Imaams of guidance, and the righteous predecessors all faced difficulties, hardships, and moments of great testing.
Yet they remained firm because their hearts were attached to Allaah.
Consider the example of Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله. During the famous trial regarding the creation of the Qur'an, he was imprisoned, beaten, and pressured by rulers and scholars who opposed him. Yet he remained patient and steadfast upon the truth.
His strength was not from himself alone; rather, it was from Allaah, then from the support of righteous people around him. It is mentioned that his mother played an important role in nurturing him upon righteousness from a young age, encouraging him in his pursuit of knowledge and accompanying him on journeys before dawn while he was still a youth.
Likewise, Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله endured imprisonment, opposition, false accusations, and continuous hardships.
Yet he remained occupied with knowledge, worship, teaching, and benefiting the people. Even while imprisoned, he viewed his situation as an opportunity to draw closer to Allaah.
His heart remained content because it was connected to his Lord and not dependent upon worldly circumstances.
The Companions of the Prophet ((ﷺ)) also endured immense trials.
Many left their homes, wealth, families, and homelands for the sake of Allaah.
Yet they continued upon goodness because they knew that the path to Allaah is not free from hardship.
Reflect also upon the story of Umm Sulaym رضي الله عنها, who nurtured her son Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه and presented him to the
Prophet ((ﷺ)) to serve him.
Through her support and concern for his upbringing, Anas became one of the great narrators of the Sunnah. Likewise, many of the righteous predecessors were blessed with mothers who encouraged them upon knowledge, worship, patience, and steadfastness.
This is why the role of our mothers and sisters should never be underestimated, especially those who are striving to raise their children upon Islaam in societies where preserving one's religion can at times be a struggle.
They face many challenges, pressures, distractions, and influences that compete for the hearts and minds of their children.
Yet despite these difficulties, they continue striving to cultivate within their homes a love for Allaah, His Messenger ((ﷺ)) and the Sunnah.
The task of raising righteous children is among the greatest responsibilities and one of the most rewarding acts of worship when done seeking the Face of Allaah.
Many mothers endure hardships known only to Allaah as they patiently teach, advise, nurture, and sacrifice for the sake of their children's religion and future.
Their efforts may be hidden from the people, but they are never hidden from Allaah.
From the best advice given by the people of knowledge is to establish consistency in goodness.
The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best of you to my family.
Thus Islam elevated the status of women and granted them honor.
A woman has a place of honor with her father, her husband, and her children.
She is the mother, the wife, the nurturer, the teacher, the worshipper, the ascetic, the good example, and a school that raises generations.
The condition of the Salaf with their wives was remarkable.
ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (May Allaah be pleased with him), that strong Companion, said that during the time of Jāhiliyyah they did not regard women as having any importance.
But when Islam came and Allaah mentioned their rights, they came to know that women indeed have rights.
When his wife became upset, he would remain silent until she became pleased again.
When he was asked about this, he said that she raises his children and bakes his bread.
Amazing indeed may Allaah be pleased with him.
Al-Ḥasan al-Baṣree was asked about a man who strikes his wife. He replied:
Do you want to become insignificant in her eyes? By Allaah, no one honors women except a noble man, and no one humiliates them except a vile man.
As for Imām Aḥmad (may Allaah have mercy upon him), he said concerning his wife Umm Ṣāliḥ:
She remained with me for forty years, and not once did we differ over a single word.
Subḥānallāh! Forty years! In our time, perhaps four days may not pass without twenty disputes occurring between husband and wife.
Yet Imām Aḥmad said:⤵️
She remained with me for forty years, and not once did we differ over a single word.
The men possessed wisdom, and the women were likewise intelligent and righteous.
They knew the rights of their husbands.
The husband has rights, and the wife has rights.
Whoever wishes to read about the rights of a husband over his wife should refer to the chapters mentioned by Imām An-Nawawee in Riyāḍ aṣ-Ṣāliḥīn.
Likewise, Imām Muslim discussed these matters in his Ṣaḥīḥ, and Imām Al-Bukhārī also addressed them in his Ṣaḥīḥ.
When one of the Prophet’s wives became jealous, he would remain patient and perhaps smile.
He did not wrong them.
Rather, he strove to maintain justice among them.
Therefore, women are honored in Islam, and the Prophet ﷺ was the foremost in honoring them.
Indeed, my brothers, no one honors women except a noble man, and no one humiliates them except a vile man.
It is also mentioned that Muʿāwiyah ibn Abī Sufyān said to his wife Fākhitah that he did not divorce her out of hatred.
Rather, he wanted her to hear what people say about a divorced woman, and then he would take her back.
Subḥānallāh even in the matter of divorce there was gentleness. He wished to teach and advise her in a wise and pleasant manner.
This is the summary of the answer to this question.
And our brother who asked the question is from Canada.
And Allaah knows best.

Good Companionship with Wives: The Way of the Prophet(( ﷺ)) and the Salaf
🔹A Brother says:🔹
🌹A Question from a wife 🌹
A wife is asking about the manner in which the
Prophet ((ﷺ ))would greet his wives.
Was there any handshaking involved? Did he embrace or hug them? Was there a customary way in which he would greet them upon entering the home or meeting them?
Please provide some details regarding the practices and customs of that time, particularly concerning the interaction between a husband and his wife.
Additionally, were the Salaf known for showing affection, kindness, and tenderness towards their wives, and are there narrations that highlight this aspect of their character?
Jazākumullāhu khayran.

Ash-Shaykh Abee Hamzah
Eesa Al-Musannaf ((حفظه الله))
Our Prophet ((ﷺ)) was indeed the finest example in this matter:
Indeed, in the Messenger of Allaah you have an excellent example.
(Al-Aḥzāb: 21)
He possessed abundant excellence in his treatment of his family.
His conduct with them was entirely based upon affection and mercy.
As an example, the Mother of the Believers, ʿĀ’ishah (May Allaah be pleased with her), was the most beloved of his wives to him.
This does not mean that he did not love his other wives; rather, he loved them all, but he loved ʿĀ’ishah more.
She said that the Messenger of Allaah ((ﷺ)) used to kiss one of his wives while he was fasting.
This is recorded in the two Ṣaḥīḥs. Such kissing is evidence of affection and love.
When the Prophet ((ﷺ)) entered the apartments of his wives, he would begin by greeting them with salām and asking about their condition. He would inquire about his family gently and kindly.
Part of his excellent treatment of his family was that he would race with ʿĀ’ishah (May Allaah be pleased with her) and joke with her. She related that the Messenger of Allaah(( ﷺ ))raced with her and she beat him. Then later, after she had gained some weight, he raced with her again and beat her.
He said: This one is for that one.
This was from his gentle and affectionate conduct with his family.
Likewise, when he wished to be intimate with one of his wives while she was menstruating, he would instruct her to wear a waist wrapper and then he would enjoy lawful closeness with her, as is reported in the Ṣaḥīḥayn.
Thus, our Prophet ((ﷺ)) was gentle, even when a woman was excused due to menstruation. He was gentle physically, verbally, and through his actions.
He would recline in the lap of ʿĀ’ishah and recite the Qur’an while she was menstruating. He would also drink from the place on a vessel where she had drunk.
If he saw that she had drunk from a cup or vessel, he would take it and drink from the same spot.
As for a specific method of greeting, I do not know of any authentic report establishing that the Prophet ((ﷺ)) greeted his wives in a particular fixed manner, such as shaking hands every time he met them or entered upon them.
However, it is established that he would ask about them, show them kindness, and meet them with cheerfulness.
He would ask whether they had anything to eat.
If they replied that they had nothing, he would say that he was fasting.
The Prophet ((ﷺ ))would also use affectionate nicknames for ʿĀ’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), calling her ʿĀ’ish, a shortened form of her name.
This was from his verbal affection and gentleness, just as his actions reflected affection and kindness.
He ((ﷺ))was truly the finest example in this regard.
Subḥānallāh, my brothers, the people of Jāhiliyyah were harsh toward women.
Some of them considered women worthless and did not view them as partners in life.
The people of ignorance oppressed women. Some even buried their daughters alive. Women had no voice in their affairs.
Then Islam came and rectified the condition of women, honored them, and commanded men to treat them well.
Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic,
said:⤵️
And live with them in kindness. (An-Nisā’: 19)
Our Prophet ((ﷺ ))said:

Will a Believing Woman Be Married in Paradise if She Was Not Married in This World?
A woman asked:⤵️
“If a believing woman dies without ever marrying, what will be her condition in Paradise?”
🎙Ash-Shaykh Muhammad
Saalih Ibn Uthaymeen ((رحمه الله))
The Shaykh replied:⤵️
Because if a believing woman dies and she had a husband, then she will be given a choice. If she had one husband, she will be with her husband.
If she had more than one husband (through successive marriages), she will be given the choice between them.
As for the woman who never married, if she did not marry, then Allah will provide a husband for her.
Allaah says:⤵️
“Indeed, We have created them in a new creation, and made them virgins, devoted and equal in age.”
(Al-Wāqi‘ah 56:35–37)
Allaah will provide her with a husband from the people of Paradise.
However, someone may say:
“Do we not say in the funeral supplication:
‘O Allaah, replace her with a husband better than her husband’
This seems problematic. Because if she was married, how can you say: ‘Replace her with a husband better than her husband’? And if she was unmarried, then where is her husband?”
The problem is clear, isn't it?
The Answer is that we say:⤵️
If she was unmarried, then the meaning of ‘replace her with a husband better than her husband’ refers to the husband that was destined for her had she remained alive.
As for the woman who was married, then the meaning of him being “better than her husband” is that he is better than him in his qualities and characteristics as they existed in this worldly life.
This is because replacement (tabdīl) can occur by replacing one thing with another entirely, such as when a person exchanges a sheep for a camel.
It can also occur by changing qualities and attributes, as when one says:
“Allaah replaced this man's disbelief with faith.”( belief in Allaah)
Likewise, Allaah says:⤵️
“The Day when the earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens as well.”
(Ibrāhīm 14:48)
The earth is still the earth, but it will be extended and altered; and the heaven is still the heaven, but it will be split apart and changed.
Thus, the replacement here is a replacement of qualities and attributes.

*Educated Women*

*A Valuable Beneficial Reminder:*
Indeed, the educated woman nowadays knows everything except her obligations her obligations toward her home, her husband, and her children.
And this is the type of education to which the West calls women under the banner of educating women.
Had the woman been ignorant of everything except her religion and her household duties, then she would have known everything.
And Allaah is the One whose aid is sought.

Side note.
One of the tragedies of our time is that many of us have become consumed with discussing current events, politics, conflicts, and the affairs of the world, while neglecting the cultivation and rectification of ourselves, our families, and our children.
No doubt, the affairs of the Muslims are important, and the believer is concerned with the condition of the Ummah. However, our concern for global events should not cause us to overlook the foundations upon which strong Muslim communities are built: sound ʿAqīdah, correct methodology, righteous upbringing, and beneficial knowledge.
It is saddening to see that many of our sisters do not readily accept sincere advice and reminders. This is often not due to ill intent, but rather because many have not been taught the correct creed and methodology from the beginning. As a result, when they are reminded of a legislative ruling from the Sharīʿah, some may take offense or view the reminder negatively.
This problem is not restricted to women alone.
Many men also suffer from a lack of proper Islamic education and grounding in the fundamentals of the religion. Ignorance of the religion affects both men and women, and its consequences can be seen throughout our communities.
At the same time, fairness demands that we acknowledge and appreciate the sincere callers to Allaah who continue to teach the people, clarify the truth, and strive to educate the Muslims upon the Qur'an and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf. Their efforts are a tremendous blessing, and we ask Allaah to reward them abundantly for their dedication and perseverance.
The education of our women, the nurturing of our children, the strengthening of our families, and the correction of our beliefs and worship are among the greatest responsibilities entrusted to us. If these foundations are neglected, then no amount of discussion about world affairs will rectify our condition.
Likewise, it is unfortunate that some callers become overly occupied with their own popularity, reputation, platforms, and social media following. Their attention becomes focused on numbers, recognition, and public approval, while matters that are far more important receive less attention. The cultivation of faith, the correction of ʿAqīdah, the education of women and children, the rectification of families, and the teaching of the foundations of the religion should remain among the highest priorities of Islamic daʿwah. A caller's success is not measured by the size of his audience, but by his sincerity, adherence to the truth, and the benefit he brings to the people through sound knowledge and righteous guidance.
May Allaah grant us beneficial knowledge, righteous action, sincerity in speech and deed, and success in cultivating ourselves, our families, and our communities upon the truth.

The Virtuous Women of This Ummah
Ash-Shaykh Uthaymeen ((رحمه الله))
Said :⤵️
Umm Salamah (May Allaah be pleased with her) said:
When this verse was revealed:⤵️
> “...and to draw their outer garments (jalābīb) over themselves...”
Al-Ahzab {59}
the women of the Anṣār came out as though crows were upon their heads due to their calmness and dignity, and they were wearing black outer garments which they had put on.
These are the characteristics of the believing women, so follow their example that you may be successful.
And do not let the worldly life and its adornment deceive you.
