Two things in this one.
*Verdant β a new theme*
Not a recolour. Four screens were rebuilt around it: warm off-white ground,
olive-lime accents, and a dark panel that curves into the stat card. Today drops
the progress ring for a goal curve. History finally answers the question the
screen exists for β how does this stretch compare to the last one. Awards is
built on rings so it stops looking like History. Settings got quiet section
labels and theme tiles that actually render each look, so you pick by looking.
You now have three: *Classic Β· Retro Β· Verdant*.
*Stride can write to Health Connect*
It could always read. Now it can publish back, so the steps, distance and active
calories Stride counts show up in your other health apps instead of being stuck
here.
It's off by default β Settings β Health Connect β *Write steps back*. Turning it
on asks for write permission separately and backfills your last 30 days. Turning
it off asks whether to leave the shared data alone or remove it; nothing gets
deleted behind your back.
Calories go in as *active*, not total β Stride only estimates what you burned
moving, and filing that as a total would inflate every other app's numbers.

If youβre losing Premium access after upgrading to the latest version, donβt worry β your purchase is still valid.
We recently changed the Premium unlocking logic and moved the verification system server-side. Because of this, some existing keys may no longer be recognized after updating.
