— NOTE: Naya claims, based on ‘exclusive footage’, that this is an Iranian anti-ship ballistic missile being launched towards the Strait of Hormuz.
That claim is false. This is an Iranian ‘Ghadr’ mixed liquid/solid fuel MRBM, which is not suitable for targeting ships. If it was an anti-ship launch, we would expect Khalije Fars or Qasseme Basir to be used.
The footage is either old (recycled) or likely from the recent ballistic missile exercises.
