BLF Claims First Operation by Female Unit Karima Armed Assault Division in Turbat The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that its newly formed female unit, the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD), carried out its first armed operation near Jusak, close to Turbat. According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, KAAD fighters ambushed a convoy of the Pakistani army’s Action Task Force on the CPEC highway near Jusak. As a result of the attack, several personnel of the Pakistani army were killed and wounded on the spot, while their vehicles were damaged. The statement described the attack as multi-pronged and pre-planned, and noted that this was the first armed action carried out by the Karima Armed Assault Division. A detailed statement regarding the operation, the losses inflicted, and KAAD’s military objectives will be released to the media soon, according to the BLF.
