According to police sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a convoy of Pakistani security forces near Rodenjo in Kalat district. Incident details:

Unidentified assailants attacked an Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) team in the Karkh area of Khuzdar district last night. The attack resulted in injuries to two personnel, including a Station House Officer (SHO). Security officials stated that the attack triggered a heavy exchange of gunfire. Evidence, including bloodstains, was found at the scene, suggesting that some of the attackers may have been wounded. However, the assailants managed to flee, reportedly taking their injured companions with them. According to reports, a mortar shell struck near a Badragah security post in the Shadi Khel area of the Bettani subdivision, Lakki Marwat, resulting in the death of Shahid, son of Muhammad Khan. The deceased was a member of the Badragah Force responsible for providing security to the OGDCL-operated gas pipeline supplying Punjab. Further details are awaited.
