Just putting this out there because I've seen a lot of people blaming the weather for this. The forests in Kalimantan are being burned intentionally, especially during the dry season, when the fire can spread more easily. Its not something we should simply dismiss as just the weather

El Niño will come and go. Dry seasons are inevitable. Climate change is only increasing the risk of wildfires. That’s why the institutions responsible for addressing them need to be strong. If every wildfire requires helicopters and cloud seeding, perhaps what we need to evaluate isn’t just our ability to put out fires, but why it is so easy for fires to start in the first place
