🎧 LISTENING: COLOUR or COLOR?
One spelling question I often get:
❓ “If I hear colour, can I write color?”
🇬🇧 colour = 🇺🇸 color
Yes! Both spellings are accepted in IELTS Listening ✅
You may have noticed that some words have -our in British English but -or in American English.
📝 Other examples:
🇬🇧 favourite → 🇺🇸 favorite
🇬🇧 centre → 🇺🇸 center
🇬🇧 organise → 🇺🇸 organize
🇬🇧 travelling → 🇺🇸 traveling
🎯 TIP:
The important thing is to spell the word correctly. Therefore, choose whichever version you are comfortable with and stick to it consistently.
I will wait for your another examples😎

✅CAPITAL LETTERS IN LISTENING — DOES IT MATTER?
🟦🟦🟦🟦Students often ask: “Do I have to use capital letters in IELTS Listening?”
The answer: No.
IELTS does not require you to write answers in capital letters.
✅ Both uppercase and lowercase are accepted as long as the answer is spelled correctly.
But there are some useful conventions worth learning:
Names: John Smith
Places: London, Australia
Days/months: Monday, September
Languages/nationalities: English, Uzbek
Normal nouns: station, library, manager → lowercase is fine.
ALL CAPS: JOHN SMITH → also fine if the answer is otherwise correct.
⚠️ Important: Capitalization is not the thing you should worry about most. Spelling is.
🧠 Don’t waste time worrying about capital letters. Focus on hearing the answer and spelling it correctly.
If ALL CAPS helps you avoid hesitation, use it. There’s no need to overthink capitalization during the test.

Ilm olishga hech qachon kech emas!
Bugun Multilevel Speaking imtihoniga ketayotganimda bir holat meni juda ta’sirlantirdi 🥹
Yonimda taxminan keksa bir yoshlar ayol ham ingliz tilidan Speaking imtihoniga kelgan o'tirgandi. Borib so'radim: navbatim kelguncha. Ayol 6️⃣1️⃣yosh ekan, ishonyapsizmi 61🇬🇧📚
Shu payt o‘ylab qoldim: inson o‘z ustida ishlashni qachon to‘xtatishi kerak?
Javob oddiy — hech qachon! Hech qachon to'xtotmaslik kerak ❤️
Yosh — ilm olish uchun to‘siq emas. Muhimi, o‘rganishga bo‘lgan istak va harakat. Siz minglab bahona bilan ilm olishni ertaga suryapsiz, aslida barchasini ortga surishingizga o'zingizning istagiz bosh sababi emasmi??💪✨
Bugun shu inson menga yana bir narsani eslatdi:
📖 Ilm olishga hech qachon kech emas.
🚶♂️ O‘zingizni rivojlantirishdan hech qachon to‘xtamang.
🔥 Yoshingiz nechada bo‘lishidan qat’i nazar, harakat qilishda davom eting!
Bugun meni 60 yoshli bir ayol ruhlantirdi. Balki bu post kimnidir ruhlantirar❤️
To‘xtamang. O‘rganing. Rivojlaning. Har doim.
