i haven’t posted here in too long.. i’m v sorry!
to update you on my past few weeks... i think i’m basically doing very well in my career and i haven’t stopped rehearsing and shooting and planning and singing and dancing and being in meetings and approving stuff etc. it’s very cool and i’m very grateful, at the same time i try to separate myself from it all as much as possible, as to keep myself grounded and not start drinking my own kool aid too much too soon. my success doesn’t define me but it’s beautiful when it comes and when my art connects with the world. i am so excited for prima to come out, and am so happy that AILA is my first song to chart. truly. it makes me very proud. i do feel more eyes on me. people are allll up in my business, talking about my looks, my family, my art, my voice... hence, i feel more pressure. there was a moment when i was very exhausted for a couple days. it’s a little overwhelming ngl! but then i shot a music video and got excited again. i also listened to “i’m that girl”. beyoncé always pick me up when i’m down. the thought of maybe having the same effect on somebody is what i do this for. the words we sing affect us. they manifest into our reality. i want to uplift people the way she’s always uplifted me. thank you for all the love...i love you guys<333— th3spr0v0cat3ur
