To me the spiritual downfall of many developers is the hubris that they get after developing their own little worlds (aka apps) and being able to control the rules and incentives in that little world/impose their will on its users. Kind of like the dude who shows up at the gym for the first time and thinks he has discovered a new revelation of working out that no one has ever experienced before him, and he is suddenly now the world’s greatest athlete after a week at the gym and now also the world’s leading expert on all subjects. The difference between someone who is chasing their life’s purpose vs the person chasing the acknowledgment/approval of others. Know that you are here for a reason and allow yourself to pursue your own life’s purpose unapologetically. Everything else is escapism.

Beauty in this many forms = language of the universe. Buying/putting your name against something that you believe to be beautiful = your ability to comprehend the language. Always working to get better at that.
