Hello Everyone, It’s 10 days to CSE Mains, and my DMs are filled with: “Sir, FLT nahi likh paaye..” “Notes banane mein hi time nikal gaya..” “Ek bhi test nahi likha” “Value addition nahi kar paye” “Optional ka revision pending hai” Always remember: “Ideal preparation for this exam is a myth.” ✅ Almost everyone reaches Mains with something incomplete. Someone has written 10 tests but barely revised. Someone has revised 4 times but hardly written. Someone barely studied after Prelims and has already given up.(Agle attempt mein acche se padhunga 😑) Now is not the time for a forensic investigation into where the last 60 days went.You don’t need to recover lost time. You need to use the time that remains. Didn’t write enough FLTs? Write at least one 10-question test and get over that phobia. (Yes, it’s a Phobia) ✅ Brainstorm. Scribble. Revise data, examples, facts and frameworks that can be re-used across papers. (Don’t chase perfection) Stop trying to make your preparation look complete. Stop idealising and Start making it functional. Having written Mains multiple times, I can safely say: Mains tests persistence as much as knowledge. It’s equally physically demanding and mentally exhausting. You can literally feel your hand shaking and fingers aching at the end of that GS-4 Paper. Remember,the examiner isn’t going to ask how many FLTs you wrote or whether your notes were complete. He will only see the copy in front of him. So after clearing such a difficult Prelims, give yourself a complete chance at Mains. “Agle attempt mein acche se padhunga.” Please don’t take that risk. I have seen people struggle to get another Mains opportunity. Mains doesn’t require perfect preparation. It tests your persistence to the core. Don’t let this brainfog dominate you. Push yourself for the last mile. 2027 Aspirants: Take a cue from this. Speak to someone appearing for Mains this year. You will understand why these crucial months of August-December matters a lot in Mains preparation. Next year you will be facing the same heat. 🔥 @Kapriconn
