He is challenging the legality of the orders that allowed the police to search his homes and arrest him for alleged misconduct in public office.

In second place by number of seats are the centrists of the "Brazilian Democratic Movement" (7). In third place is Lula’s "Workers' Party" (6).
The libertarian party NOVA shares fourth place with the Socialist Party, surpassing the major centrist representatives.

JUST IN: Republican Bruce Blakeman says his internal polling now puts him within the MARGIN OF ERROR against Democrat Kathy Hochul in the New York governor’s race.
Blakeman says he knows the numbers are accurate because Hochul has spent over $6 MILLION attacking him.
Whoa.
BLAKEMAN: “You don’t attack a Republican in New York state and raise their name ID unless you’re in deep trouble, and she’s in deep trouble because people are miserable in New York state.”
That’s when Blakeman took a flamethrower to Hochul’s record.
“Every part of the state people are complaining about us being the highest taxed state in America.”
“Our utility bills are 70% higher than the national average.”
“And Kathy Hochul is the most pro-criminal governor in the United States of America.”
“So you’re going to see one of great upsets in these midterm elections. We are going to win New York.”
Blakeman sounds very confident that he will bring this thing home.
