I reflect on this very often as a trader who is still becoming fully established and learning but often times my port will rubberband and range between an amount for a while however, every single time (although it takes time) there’s been something pivotal that breaks me out of the range and i’m sure it’s similar for some other participants too essentially what I mean by this is that you should view it as a positive and be optimistic as you know your “breakthrough” is coming through. whether that be a trade or honing your edge or even discovering a new one - that breakthrough will always come if you are consistent and resilient
