New Balance has been making shoes in the US for years, but for a long time a lot of them were straight-up dorky. You had to be careful some pairs looked like they were designed for old boomers rocking Izod pants, listening to Mark Levin in the garage. But their recent SK88T shoes? Those actually go hard. It’s already well-known in Europe that New Balance is the go-to brand for a lot of right-wing hools and ultras. I think building a recognizable casual dress style here in the US for street activists would be a smart move nothing wrong with having a little fascist swag. It sets us apart in a good way clean, masculine, ready for the streets without looking like try-hards or slobs.
