🧠 Chemical Engineering: Alongside reaction chemistry, what does chemical engineering run on above all else?
🧠 Quiz time! 10 questions, one at a time. Good luck! 👇
⏰ 5 minutes to go! Quiz starts at 20:00 sharp — 10 questions, are you ready? 🧠
⏰ 10 minutes until tonight’s NESU quiz! 10 questions on science & engineering — first one drops at 20:00. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss it! 🔔
🏭 Did you know? — Industrial Engineering
🔹 Industrial engineers don’t design the machines themselves — they design how people, machines and materials work together: factory layout, logistics, quality systems. Their core tool isn’t a single piece of hardware but statistics and process design.
🔹 The single biggest idea in the field is the bottleneck: a production line can never run faster than its slowest station, no matter how fast the others go — the rest just build up queues waiting on it.
💡 Finding and widening that one constraint, rather than speeding up whatever’s already fast, is the entire economy of industrial engineering.Did you know this already? React with 🔥 if yes — or 🤯 if this is brand new to you! #NESU #Engineering #IndustrialEngineering @nesuuz
⚙️ Did you know? — Mechanical Engineering
🔹 Mechanical engineers work with forces, motion and energy — engines, machines, manufacturing lines, anything that moves. It’s the broadest of the classical engineering disciplines, and machine design underpins the hardware inside nearly every other field.
🔹 One of the field’s oldest tricks: gear trains. Every meshing pair of gears reverses direction, so an odd-numbered gear in a chain always spins the same way as the first.
💡 That simple counting rule lets engineers trade speed for torque, scaling from a wristwatch’s tiny gears to the hoists that lift entire mineshafts.Did you know this already? React with 🔥 if yes — or 🤯 if this is brand new to you! #NESU #Engineering #MechanicalEngineering @nesuuz
🏗️ Did You Know? — Bioengineering
🔹 Bioengineering combines engineering with biology to solve some of the world's biggest healthcare challenges. Bioengineers design everything from artificial organs and prosthetic limbs to wearable health sensors and life-saving medical devices.
🔹 One of the most exciting breakthroughs is 3D bioprinting. Instead of printing with plastic or metal, scientists use living cells to "print" tissues such as skin, cartilage, and even miniature organs for research. While fully functional printed organs for transplantation are still being developed, this technology is already helping researchers test new medicines more safely and could one day help address the global shortage of donor organs. 🚀 NESU is now online.
We're excited to announce the launch of the official National Engineering Society of Uzbekistan (NESU) website!
The website will serve as the central hub for everything NESU—from our latest announcements, events, partnerships, and projects to membership opportunities and much more.
🌐 Visit our website: nesu.uz
⚠️ The website is currently in Test Mode. While we've worked hard to make everything ready, you may still come across bugs, errors, or missing information. If you notice anything, we'd greatly appreciate your feedback.
Simply click the "Test Mode" button on the website to submit a report directly to our team. Every report helps us improve the platform before its full release.
Thank you for being part of building a stronger engineering community across Uzbekistan. 💙

🏗️ Did you know? — Civil Engineering
🔹 Civil engineers design and maintain the built environment — roads, bridges, dams, tunnels and the water systems entire cities depend on. In Uzbekistan the discipline carries a special seismic duty.
🔹 After the devastating 1966 earthquake leveled much of old Tashkent, the capital was rebuilt almost from scratch with earthquake resistance built into every structure. Modern buildings here use base isolation and ductile framing — designs that let a structure flex and absorb shaking instead of cracking under it.
💡 That same technique is now standard across seismically active Central Asia. Every bridge, dam and high-rise you pass in Tashkent has survived a seismic design check most cities never have to think about.Did you know this already? 🏛️ Did you know? — Structural Engineering
🔹 Structural and architectural engineers make buildings stand — sizing every beam, column and foundation against gravity, wind and, in this region, earthquakes. One of the field’s most elegant ideas is also one of its oldest: the triangle.
🔹 A triangle can’t change shape without changing the length of one of its sides, so its joints carry no bending force at all — unlike a square, which simply folds into a parallelogram under the same push.
💡 That single geometric fact is why trusses, cranes and transmission towers are built almost entirely out of triangles: it’s the strongest shape you can make from the least material.Did you know this already? 🤝 NESU × Triple Point Engineering (TPE)
We're proud to announce our partnership with Triple Point Engineering (TPE).
By joining forces, we're creating new opportunities for aspiring engineers to learn from industry professionals, gain practical experience, and participate in projects that bridge the gap between education and real engineering.
This partnership reflects our shared commitment to developing the next generation of engineers in Uzbekistan.Exciting initiatives are already in the works. Stay tuned! 🚀 @nesuuz
🤝 We've just signed our new partnership .
We'll share everything in 5 minutes.
Stay tuned.
