Oil prices βfell by more than $2 per barrel on Thursday after the U.S. and Iran signed an interim agreement that βwould end the Iran war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and waive U.S. sanctions on Tehran's oil, boosting the oil supply outlook.
π° Axios reports that the United States and Iran have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) remotely to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz ahead of schedule. The agreement is now in effect.
π’ The deal is expected to facilitate the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy shipping route, while paving the way for further negotiations between the two countries. π
