He never said much.
But he gave everything.
No spotlight.
No appreciation.
No “thank you” posts.
Just silent sacrifices.
We grew up thinking it was normal.
Fees paid on time.
Food always on the table.
Problems solved before we even noticed them.
That wasn’t normal.
That was him.
A father doesn’t just raise a child…
He carries the weight of the entire family
without ever showing it.
And the harsh truth?
Most of us realize his value…
only when he’s no longer there.
I read this once:
“One father is more than a hundred schoolmasters.”
Now it makes sense.
Because life didn’t teach me what my father did.
His actions did.
His struggles did.
His silence did.
And if your father is still alive today…
You’re not lucky.
You’re privileged.
Because not everyone gets a second chance
to say “thank you.”
So tell me honestly
When was the last time you sat with your father
without your phone…
and just listened?
