For the first time in the past two weeks, Iβll be going to sleep at a reasonable hour. My body just canβt do it today.
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. I love how Bini explains complex topics in a simple, engaging way, and somehow manages to keep them from becoming boring. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

So I suddenly went off the grid because I needed to focus on work and my thesis. I still haven't finished the entire thesis process, but at least the main part is done, and all that's left now is the defense.
Work has been very, very hectic. There were a lot of challenges on that side, but over the past 3-4 months I somehow managed not to get fired, picked up a few clients, built a lot of things, and learned even more along the way.
I've also attended a few events and even hosted one (shoutout to the Golang Meetup organizers). It was fun being back on stage, even if I did throw in a few cheesy jokes here and there. Apparently, people liked what they saw at Dag's meetup, which was really encouraging.
What else...
I've been playing around with a lot of open-source models, and GLM is still my favorite. Buttttt I've been using DeepSeek-V4-Flash for a client's project, and I have to say, it's sooo good. I really like the depth of its reasoning. That said, I wouldn't recommend it for quick tasks. For those, Minimax and Kimi have been performing really well.
I also built a simple Bible-reading PWA and used Kimi to generate the frontend. When I tell you it gave me a clean, beautiful UI... wow. For someone like me who absolutely hates designing frontends, it was a lifesaver.
Hopefully I won't go MIA again. The thesis is almost done, and things are finally starting to settle down. I've been taking a long break from pretty much everything, but now I'm back. And hopefully I'll also get back into organizing events, because I've genuinely missed being part of the community and bringing people together.
Most importantly, God has been so good and kind to me these past few months. Even when things kept going south, He still showed up in ways that were beyond anything I could have imagined. He kept holding my heart whenever I grew weary and afraid/... He carried me through moments that I honestly didn't think I'd make it through on my own.
