On another note, I’ve been so excited to set up my workstation and I finally bought an external monitor. It’s a Lenovo 27-inch, and I really like it! I haven’t set it up on my usual desk yet, but I’m already loving it. I got it from my dear friend and owner of a great tech store, @ATech. I think I’m halfway done with my setup. Next is lights

So basically, MediatR is an open-source C# library that helps connect a command to the right handler. You tell it: “Hey, when you see this command, use this handler.” Then when a command comes in, MediatR automatically finds the right handler and sends it there.

Weyooooooo 😭 I completely forgot how complicated .NET can get... So I’m building an app using Clean Architecture, and when defining an endpoint this is basically what happens: The API endpoint gets called → it creates a command; this is basically something like an order request in a restaurant → the command goes through something called MediatR → MediatR finds the matching command handler; meaning the right handler for the command → then the handler takes over and handles the actual logic. It’s kinda wild how many layers a simple login request travels through 😂 😭 I miss Next.js.
