Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

Happy Sunday, my lovelies 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Faith without deed If I say I love someone but continuously ignore them, can that truly be called love? If we keep saying we have faith, yet continue living like someone who has no faith, will that faith have any meaning? Shouldn’t our lives look different? Shouldn’t we look, speak, act, and love differently from those who do not know God? If we are saved, if we dare to call God our Father, shouldn’t that be visible? የያዕቆብ መልእክት 2:20 James 2:20 “አንተ ከንቱ ሰው፥ እምነት ከሥራ ተለይቶ የሞተ መሆኑን ልታውቅ ትወዳለህን?” “Foolish person! Do you want evidence that faith without works is useless?” የያዕቆብ መልእክት 2:22 James 2:22 “እምነት ከሥራው ጋር አብሮ ያደርግ እንደ ነበረ፥ በሥራም እምነት እንደ ተፈጸመ ትመለከታለህን?” “You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was made complete.” Of course, we do not do good works in order to be saved. We are not trying to earn God’s love, acceptance, or salvation. We do these things because we have already received them through Jesus. But if our faith is real, how can it remain hidden? If our faith does not produce fruit, what is the purpose of having faith? If we do not strive to live righteously wherever God has placed us, if we do not reflect Jesus as much as we can, if we do not influence the places we are in, then what is the purpose of our presence there? If Jesus came to earth today and said, “I will recognize My people by how they move, how they speak, how they live, how they handle money, how they give, how they love, and how they work,” would He recognize us? Again, we do not work to become accepted by God. We work because we already are accepted by Him. Think of a prince or princess. They do not live with honor in order to earn their title. They live with honor because of the title they already carry meaning their identity shapes their actions. In the same way, let us live according to our calling. Let us love, give, serve, and walk in righteousness. We shouldnt be doing this because we are trying to become God’s children, but because through Jesus, we already are. #HeavenlyWhispers #NaniBecoming

I actually miss the intricacies of coding. I miss how elegant the process of thinking through how to write code felt. Wondering what a function might need before I even wrote it. Anticipating edge cases, and thinking through the little implementation details that made the code was so intentional.... Writing the function line by line. Refactoring as I go. Don't get me wrong. I love the efficiency that comes with AI, and I genuinely enjoy seeing how AI approaches and writes code. But sometimes I just want to ditch it all, and go back to the good old programming...

I love miss Eldad

The wonders of today….. I survived on 4 hours of sleep and was so busy with work that I somehow forgot to drink coffee. Not a single cup.

Why did I go to an exploration project when I have a deadline tmr 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I really loved how similar Swift was to Flutter.. I didn't have a hard time picking it up.. I was trying to understand this repo for a while now and that helped.. if u are planning on learning widgets, this is a great tool

Seeing Dag's post about journaling made me look back at my own journals. I've been an avid journaler for a while now, but I've always hated how scattered everything was. Sometimes I'd write in a physical journal, sometimes on my phone, and sometimes on my PC. For the past three months or so, though, it's mostly been on my PC since I spend most of my time there. The problem is, I still forget to actually journal. So I quickly built this little widget. It was a fun way to practice Swift, even though I was shamelessly copying and pasting from everywhere but it works. It's integrated with Obsidian vault, so every entry goes straight into the existing journal. If you want to try it on your Mac, clone the repo. All the setup instructions are there. Now let's see if this actually helps me journal consistently.
