The core of computer science, what truly sets it apart from other areas of informatics, is Mathematics. Yes, you heard that right! CS is, at its heart, the application of mathematics. You might not see the full picture while you’re still at the Bachelor’s level, but if you keep pushing yourself in this field, it will all start to make sense.
This was the advice my Design and Analysis of Algorithms(DAA) teacher shared in class... @YosephWon

#FINAL #MATHS Studying the same course since Saturday like it’s my full-time job (unpaid) 😏 @YosephWon

#MINDSET #GRIT If your learning never forces you to rethink, fail, or try again then real growth is not happening.
True growth comes from struggle !!!

Speaking of which, I just realized my Watch Later playlist has basically turned into another YouTube feed. Time to reduce it by deleting a few and watching the shortest ones as a mental break πŸ€“

One of the coolest features on YouTube is the β€œWatch Later” option

#REASONTOLOCKIN #LOCKIN Yesterday, I happened to observe large-scale system architecture operating in production, one that was running and managing numerous microservices while handling massive amounts of data and users. Despite seeing it in action, I couldn't fully grasp how the entire system functioned. The complexity of it keeps bothering me whenever I think about it. I even tried to study the high level design of the system, but there were many pieces that I couldn't identify or understand. This experience made me realize where I currently stand in the field and how much more I still need to learn. Ultimately, it gave me another strong reason to lock in and focus seriously on improving my skills. @YosephWon

Rain falling, an empty library, a song playing, and my PC such a lovely combination 🀌 @YosephWon

ahhhh This Sh*t really frustrates me 😀 Sometimes it even breaks my thought process
