ᯓ★Perhaps I'm being too much...
Perhaps I love too deeply, care too deeply, and share too deeply. Perhaps I'm too kind, too emotional, too affectionate, until none of it feels special anymore. People start expecting you to always be there for them, to always care, even when you're not feeling alright yourself. But you still have to smile and listen to what they have to say because it's your job to be there. It's your duty. And if you don't, they call you things you never deserved. Perhaps I should stop being this way. I never wanted to hurt anyone, so I started being nice and kind. I never hated, I never despised... But perhaps being too nice is boring, because after a while, people give you the cold shoulder simply because you never turned your back on them. Perhaps people are drawn to the things that hurt them. Perhaps they're looking for something that will break them, rather than spending time with someone who truly and deeply cares about them... I think I'm being too much because one cold shoulder is enough to make my mind overthink every single thing I've said and every little detail I've done. I start hating myself for it, and I slowly disappear. But then they say it was nothing and I'm being dramatic about it. Maybe it was nothing to them, but it's already too late for me because I've already started hating myself. I don't want to do it all over again, knowing how it will end. Because at the end, I'm the one who gets hurt, yet somehow I become the dark one simply because I left. I never chose to be the villain. I never chose to be the one who hurts others. I never wanted to be. And perhaps that's the problem with me. I'd rather hurt myself than hurt anyone else, and I always end up being the villain in their eyes because they're too blind to see that the daggers were pointed at me, not at them.
Need a few days off...
