Titanic Sinking Anniversary April 15th, 2026 ⭐️ This 15th of April marks the 114th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It stands as both a testament to the genius of European civilization, and a humbling reminder of the limits of human ambition before the awe-inspiring power of Nature. Titanic was designed and built by the hands of European craftsmen, engineers, and visionaries, and she reflected the confidence, excellence, and aspirations of Our People. She was the very embodiment of progress and technological prowess. In her time, she was the largest and most luxurious vessel ever built. In that way, she was symbolic of the European soul itself, which is bold, forward-reaching, and unafraid. Her sinking in the North Atlantic during the early hours of April 15th, 1912 reminds us that man, however brilliant, is not invincible. We must ensure that we remain humble before Nature, in everything that we do. As a Gold Star member of the International Titanic Historical Society for many years, I have long observed this date to both honor those lost, and to reflect on the deeper lessons Titanic imparts to those who are willing to look beyond the surface. I post this to recognize, in the story of Titanic, the same themes we face in the Eternal Struggle today, those being the brilliance of Our Ancestors, the heights to which we as a people soared, and the peril that comes when hubris and modernity tempt us to forget who we are and where our strength lies. Lest we forget the heroism of that night, the 1500 souls lost, or the teachings which we are left with.
