Dante's first sonnet from "La Vita Nuova": [The first three hours of night were almost spent The time that every stars shines down on us When have appeared to me so suddenly That I still shudder at the memory.] Joyous love seemed to me, the while he held My heart within his hands, and in his arms My lady lay asleep wrapped in a veil. He woke her then and trembling and obedient She ate that burning heart out of his hand; Weeping I saw him then depart from me.

Allegra Pazzi: Dr. Fell, do you believe a man could become so obsessed with a woman, from a single encounter? Hannibal Lecter: Could he daily feel a stab of hunger for her and find nourishment in the very sight of her? I think so. But would she see through the bars of his plight and ache for him?

Hannibal (3/3)— Hannibal Lecter is the embodiment of calculated elegance; a mind as sharp as his manners, a taste as refined as his darkness. Even his cruelty carries the weight of artistry, making him both terrifying and mesmerizing. He is so majestic, so original, so classic.
He even uses the Mind palace method which I was familiar with since watching Sherlock. I will write more about it once I gather more knowledge.
I knew then and I know now that he can be my eternal guid and role model, who I can and want to be in the future.

2/3— Hannibal By Thomas Harris
