Take me back

Sometimes I miss the past more than I can explain . Not because everything was perfect , but because some moments , people , and feelings can never return . There is a quiet sadness in remembering the life I once had and the person I used to be . Some memories stay in my heart no matter how much time passes , and sometimes I find myself longing for days that felt simpler and warmer . Yet even with all this longing , I still hope for brighter days ahead . I hope that one day my heart will find peace , and that the future will give me reasons to smile that are just as beautiful as the memories I hold onto . Until then , I will carry my memories with love , not because I want to live in the past , but because they are a part of who I am .
