i remember a time when shit like new vegas was technologically stunning. you'd see articles about how bethesda games were the peak of open world tech along with stalker and crysis, how everything was being pushed to its absolute limits. around the same time, we had the kinect/wii/ps move which was mindblowing for the time. fucking webcam doing full motion tracking and it WORKED, the wii shipping an almost-budget console that was primarily motion controlled, a ps3 that converted into a pseudo-VR rig with wands. now, we have mfers out there using refined versions of this tech to do whole ass movies and concerts in the comfort of their own home with live-rendered models. the crazy part is that the gap is about 20 years, not even a whole lifetime

when i go to the market i get illegally tracked by six cameras. the food there is already too expensive and still increasing in cost. a while back a black woman stabbed a young boy explicitly because he is White. the stabber was not charged with a hate crime but if i so much as uttered the word of power i would be in prison last week. tomorrow the senate is going to pass a bill that gives big yahoo as much power as the president does to lead AMERICAN soldiers. our bothers and our boys will be forced to die for israel, who is slurping up all of my tax money to fund a genocide. im tired. im downright exhausted. i want justice and im running out of distractions. the bread is too expensive and the circuses are boring. i pray every night and the first think i ask God for is justice against His enemies. may He come quickly with a sword that never dulls.
