آشور-ناصِر-أبلي
ومعناه تقريبًا: «آشور حامي الابن/الوريث».
آشور ناصربال الثاني (883–859 ق.م.)
ملك آشوري بارز، وسّع نفوذ آشور عسكريًا، وجعل كالح (نمرود) مركزًا ملكيًا مهمًا. اشتهر بقصوره الضخمة ومنحوتاته الحجرية، خصوصًا مشاهد صيد الأسود. خلفه ابنه شلمنصر الثالث.
