Decided to dig a little deeper on this because someone asked a question about it

IP addresses from cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, etc.) or some VPN services may receive closer scrutiny because they are commonly used for automation.

If an IP is associated with spam, automation abuse, or malicious behavior, WhatsApp may flag or temporarily restrict requests originating from it.

If too many requests come from the same IP in a short period (such as repeated logins, pairing attempts, or API requests), WhatsApp may temporarily limit traffic from that IP.

5. IP-Based Restriction WhatsApp may temporarily restrict traffic coming from a specific IP address if it detects unusual activity. Common causes: Very high request volume. Abuse from the same network. Requests from suspicious hosting providers or VPNs.
