As an Iranian woman and a comic artist, I owe more to Marjane Satrapi than I can put into words.
She was one of the reasons I believed comics could matter. She showed me that our stories could cross borders, that comics could carry the weight of history, and that our voices deserved to be heard.
Thank you, for the stories, for the courage, and for showing us that our lives were worth drawing.

راستی جا موند بگم اینو کاملش کردم.
چرا جاموند؟
چون از بس که گفتم اگه این رو کامل کنم همون موقع جنگ میشه،
و ناامید بودم کاملش نکردم. بعد دیدم نمیزنه نشستم پاش یه چند روزم. قبل نصف شب کاورش کردم.صبح بیدارم کردن گفتن زدن نتا هم پرید.
