Torre Littoria, or the Lictor's Tower. Designed by Armando Melis de Villa and Giovanni Bernocco, completed in 1933-1934. It was one of the earliest prominent skyscrapers of the Fascist era. It reaches ~87 meters. The "P.N.F." lettering on the upper part shows its use by Fascists.

This is a 1930s painting by Ruggero Alfredo Michahelles, commonly known by his pseudonym RAM, titled "Legionari di ieri e di oggi"("Legionares of Yesterday and Today"). Futurist Italian Fascist propaganda, contrasting ancient and modern soldiers.
