Thank you so much, I really appreciate that 🙏. Since you’re just starting, I’d say focus on the fundamentals first, then pick Python + AI/ML or JavaScript/TypeScript + a framework like Next.js and build projects as you learn. Don’t rush into too many technologies at once.
Honestly, thank you for opening up like this. And please don’t feel like you have to carry all of that alone just because you’re trying to be strong for everyone else. I can only imagine how exhausting it must be to have your family going through something like that while you’re also trying to build your own life, make money, take care of clients, and somehow still find a reason to smile. You are strong and I hope you will accomplish all, you have a kind heart and God always protects that
Ofc not, it's very necessary, I am glad you shared it with us, Please My door is always open if you want to talk, the venting link is always too, you can just let it out and it will be okay
It completely makes sense why competing with yesterday feels hollow, you miss having a real scoreboard and tangible stakes.
If you thrive on that energy, don’t fight it. Recreate the arena: find a coding peer, share your daily progress publicly, and track concrete wins like shipped features instead of vague effort.
The “one week great, one week dead” cycle just means you’re sprinting too hard. Lower the daily bar to an unbreakable 1–2 hours. Starting dev at 24 is plenty early; trade the emotional marathons for steady, visible consistency.
Hey, thank you sooo much, appreciate it, and I am sending the roadmap i am preparing tomorrow morning so maybe try that, it have all the resources
