Journaling is a wonderful tool to bring thoughts and feelings from shadow to light and allow us to be more honest with ourselves, and then with the world. ✨🌼 Writing songs can do that but it’s not enough. There must also be writing not meant for any eye. 👁️

Journaling really helps you stay in alignment with who you want to be. It trains your mind to embody your vision of who you want to be. It forces your mind to slow down. There is something about holding yourself accountable by putting pen to paper. Some time ago I did a post on the symbolism of even going as far as writing in cursive in these instances. There is something (imho) about the connection of letters to form words that visually and symbolically uniform together. An alliance of keeping promises to yourself or staying committed to a vision.
