gini, fellas, shall this be a firm reminder since its necessary for every of you all here especially to not surpress your feelings so much. its okay to let it all out. i mean, we are all a human being here, kan? its very humane as well for us to feel. to cry, to be angry. emotional surpressions can contributes to so much unbenefical stuff, by the way. damaging your health though deliberate, but its real. the damage are real. even theres some yang perhaps kalian rasa failed to see your worth. theyre never to define you. you are not them to define. you define yourself, intinya. you shape who you aimed to be. you decide it yourself, so.. alwaysf look after yourself, ya, fellas.
the thing is, i struggle with vulnerability. the anger issue shits? exists, within me, iya. i want and will always crave control especially when life feels uncertain for me. i tends to be defensive when emotionally threatened or felt like it, sih. uncertainty oveerwhelms me. also, i vaue authenticity over appearancesf. im not interested in any superficial connections.
been 3 years or so since i spoke about skam france. the reason why i resonate so much with si Lucas.. well, we shares so much similliarities. i feel things very deeply even if i dont always show them since id always find it difficult for me to open up. yes, my parents, basically, most of my relatives sih they are all still concerned about this. lol. im not exactly a softie, dare i say. im rough edged or that is just how i perceived myself to be, i suppose. well, im aware. im not familiar with vulnerability, to be precise ya i avoid it. i over articulate my emotion especially whenever shits striked on me. im constantly processing everything and i dont suppose its a tendency anymore, it just grew within me. i value those who i cherish deeply reaching the point where i think even sacrificing everythingf for them wouldnt be enough. im not that openly sentimental, but yes. i tends to romanticize connections more than romance itself, therefore i love those who im connected to with my entire being. TRULY i hope, lord, artists never lose the part of themselves that made them want to create in the first place. improving your craft, experimenting with new techniques, or even completely reinventing your style can all be wonderful when theyre driven by curiosity. but if the only reason youre changing is because you believe your authentic work deserves less love due to the lack of appreciations or validationf, thats a painful place to create from. not so dandy, alright.
a lil reminder here that authenticity is often what leaves the deepest impressions over time. treating what makes your art yours as a flaw wont benefit you much, at the end. hey, even a brilliant piece can be overlooked. doesnt mean that what you created is less valuable.
shall i be frank that it is truly depressing to see other artists lacking confidence in their own art style. even willing to adjust their own style into something that feels.. eh, generic, in order to gain and receive validations. once again, referencing things are okay, really. including on implementing it to your art style. and that doesnt mean that artists shouldnt experiment withdifference styles theyre willing to try, no. what im voicing here is regarding the authenticity they bears. its like seeing someone losing themselves. for me, an art style is not merely a technique, its years of experimentation, habits or how you perceives the world. its your accumulation of taste. it reflects on everything that speaks of you. individually. and whenever theres like, an artist who decided theyll put an end towards it and the sole reasoning is because that they truly believes that no one will appreciates them enough for it, personally it feels like watching them lose faith in something deeply personal.
