The fading sun proves an excellent excuse to stop for photographs at nearly every turn, and what was meant to be a brief visit becomes an unhurried afternoon spent wandering, talking, and admiring the view. As the light grows softer, the rooftops below begin to glow in subdued shades of gold, rose, and amber, leaving us quite happy to remain on the hill a little longer.
