Hi everyone 🧡 We just want to take a moment to properly explain the reason behind the new ₦50 withdrawal fee. We understand that any new fee can be frustrating, especially when you were previously able to withdraw without being charged, and we genuinely don’t take that lightly. The ₦50 isn’t a fee we introduced to make more money from withdrawals. It’s simply to help cover the charges taken by our payment processors whenever we send money out. For example, when someone withdraws ₦500 and we cover a ₦50 transaction fee ourselves, we’ve already lost 10% of that withdrawal amount before considering any of the other costs involved in running FamsUpTasks. For a long time, we absorbed these charges because we wanted withdrawals to be as easy and accessible as possible. But with our margins already being quite slim, while still giving users a 10% referral bonus, continuing to cover every withdrawal fee ourselves unfortunately isn’t something we can sustain long-term. We’ve tried to keep the fee as small as possible at just ₦50, and this change is simply about making sure FamsUpTasks can continue operating sustainably, paying users reliably, and providing more earning opportunities going forward.
