Me being a perfectionist, I always color in the line or draw very symmetrical shapes or straight lines and I would be very annoyed if I make even a little mistake, so with this one I just let the marker take control and went with the flow of the pen and it felt freeing not having to worry about it being perfect, because it does look beautiful no matter what because I made it 💙

Taylor Jenkins Reid is now one of my favorite authors.
Her books are so enjoyable to read and her ideas are original and never boring.
This one talks about Carrie, a marvelous tennis player who was the best of her time, she retired and then returned to challenge the up and coming best player, to claim her title as the “best”.
This book not only was it written beautifully, it is empowering, to not give up on yourself, to believe in yourself, to do whatever you want and not care about what other people think of you.
Carrie Soto is a character that everyone hates but respects her, respects her hustle, dedication and determination to get what she wants and not caring about anything else.
It also shows that you are not alone in this, that there will one day be someone by your side no matter how much you push them and they believe in you.
