When listening to "Huntrix - Takedown", for some reason I had an association with Frisk(my character):

"How can you sleep or live with yourself? A broken soul trapped in the nastiest shell"

which suits him very well. Initially, the idea was not to give him two extra forms, — as it was done with Ara, for example, whose anthro and feral forms exist for convenience, — but rather a single form with.. two personalities. Let me explain. Frisk is an unwitting test subject who escaped because the serum initially had no effect on him. However, his sleep was disturbed, and he had the same nightmares again and again. At first there were eyes gleaming in the dark, then an indistinct silhouette that took shape every night, becoming clearer and clearer. This continued until the mysterious figure emerged from the darkness and towered over the boy. In short, his nightmares came to life, bringing along with them joint pain, general weakness, and so on. Next, in the end it turned into the ability to transform into a wyvern. Consequently, a desire to bring the idea depicted on the right to life, where the silhouette emerges from the dark. 🦅-Leicies Reference-Sheet-🦅 Completed feral reference for Leicies The final commission of the year! What to say, I could not resist and not make a reference of a bird. This is my second time attempting at gryphon reference, and this turned out to be several times larger than the last, for there are 3 fullbodies! My favorite pose is the left one, where he's standing on hind legs, how adorable! Despite the large amount of patterns, they did not give me a hard time. In fact, it was enjoyable drawing this feathered wonder! And working with the commissioner was straight joy, too. Although we had to make several adjustments of the character's colors, the result turned out to be quite juicy. And no, the lower part is not a tiger! ➖-A Memory, or a Dream...-➖ Trade with my friend FroxiFox As a nice surprise I was given a human character. Yes, a hybrid, but still the face is human, which is something new for me. I had always refused to draw people because their head anatomy seemed very realistic and unreal to me, although... in practice, it turned out to be much more pleasant. And I didn't even spend much time studying the head's structure, and everything fell into place fairly well. As for the body, that's something I'm used to; after all, anthros have human bodies, so I was already familiar with that. 🌄-The shadow of sunset-🌄 Commission for Sparog Everything started peacefully and harmlessly, like always... a simple idea for the pose, unambiguous atmosphere. So it was: I made a simple pose, — the wyvern standing tall above a dragon's corpse, — and then my brain decided to try and alter the point of view, and... it turned out better than I thought! A bit of a gloomy situation: a valuable life lost, but the atmosphere is so serene thanks to the cozy sunset... Once again, I endeavor to leave my comfort zone and work on backgrounds. For me, the grass was always something terrifying in terms of render: I couldn't understand how to draw it, how to make it so that it wouldn't look strange or alike to noodles. 🥀-Breaking the Silence-🥀 Commission for Trm27 as a gift for Raylldo A long-term project has finally come to an end! This time yet another unusual piece to my portfolio, namely a detailed mawshot. Initially, I was surprised by this request, but then I envisioned what it would look like on canvas and decided to take on the challenge! Had to meticulously work out every little detail: the reflection on the white fangs, the slight shadow from the saliva, light reflecting on the scales, the overall shape of the scales, which was pleasant to "play" with. Working with scales is calming to some extent; the gradual and iterative process puts you in some kind of trance, where you lose track of time. Of course, there is room for improvement, but I am satisfied with the final result! This is how threats to these dragons' partners end: two fierce maws immediately descend upon you. 🐉-Singed Wing Reference-Sheet-🐉 Commission for Singed Wing Yet another big and detailed reference for my portfolio! What can I say, we had to overcome many manipulations with this character in order to achieve needed results. There were many options in terms of his design, and then we (or rather, the commissioner) have thought for long regarding his colors. Due to the fact that I started this ref days before my break, I decided to do some sort of "speedrun", hence why final line-art and coloring were ready literally on the third day of work xD To be frank, I still experience a bit of embarrassment because I unwittingly made the person think faster ;D Nonetheless, my most sincere gratitude to the commissioner for the speed and quality of the responses! Art trade with @AraVarvarovna I didn't expect myself to get such a bombastic result. As they say, "once and a stick shoots," so apparently it was a "shot" - and the angle is unusual, and the background is done normally, and the pose is dynamic, and the chiaroscuro/shading is pleasant. I surprised not only Ara, but also myself, hehe. Thanks a lot for trade! 🐾-Nanata paws sheet-🐾 Trade with Nanata I am delighted with the paws design, the conjunction of mint and gold colors is just something magical! Never would've thought about this kind of combination, but here it looks just perfect. Also a fun fact: you can notice that the blood, flesh and bones are made of crystals! I just love how on the top left paw gold blood is visibly trickling down the fingers, that at the end crystallizes into clusters! I imagine the character has no wealth issues 🤭 Text editor Manovar
