Try to switch hq audio then refresh home screen and check song details if it is 320kbps then it's hq audio you know what is it
We are getting actually 320kbps from ytmusic because it's now using VR client that provide high quality streaming
Suvmusic Update
Numerous bugs fixed.
NewPipeExtractor v0.26.2 was broken due to YouTube’s SABR protocol (audio streams returning empty).
Fixed by integrating PR #1498 (MonseyNY:fix/android-vr-sabr-fallback). Pinned to commit
7ccf36f4 for safety. It falls back to ANDROID_VR client which still provides proper stream URLs.
Once upstream releases v0.26.3, we’ll revert to the official version.
No extra app-side changes needed.
Playback should be stable now.
