What would you actually become if distractions weren’t your excuse anymore?

A friend of mine got outta prison last week. And I’m not even exaggerating… that shit surprised me fr. Bro was in for one year. Just one. But somehow in that time he bulked up, learned boxing, read over 100 books (religious + fiction), picked up some moya, and completely flipped his mindset. Even the way he talks now feels different. More calm. More locked in. So I told him, “ngl bro, prison did you good. That shit really changed you.” He laughed and said, “yeah yeah… but I could’ve done all this without prison if I just dropped my phone.” Think about it No jail. No guards. No locked doors. Just no phone. That’s crazy when you think about it. We out here free every day, but distracted as hell. Scrolling, wasting hours, feeling busy but building nothing. So I been thinking… If you had one full year free, healthy, no phone distractions what would you actually do with it? What would you learn? What would you build? Who would you become? Some people need prison to wake up. The rest of us just need discipline. Just saying.

Don’t let peer pressure make you lose yourself and forget your goal. Just because everyone is doing something doesn’t mean it’s smart 😭 If the whole class skips lecture, that doesn’t turn it into a holiday. If everyone is broke but “outside,” that doesn’t magically pay rent. Sometimes the crowd is just a group of confused people walking confidently together 😂 You don’t have to join the cult every time ... it’s okay to be the weird one who says “nah, I’m good” and goes back to building. Be unique. Be you. Following the crowd is easy, thinking for yourself is rare. And trust me, rare always has more value 💯

I hate vote based competitions for this reason, Specially on telegram... it can be easily manipulated it's boring fr I'm pretty sure it was very hard and tiring to build this project and It can solve a lotttt of problems and the idea is js 🔥🔥 I mean this can really solve real life problems fr But still he didn't win😂😂 damn man life's not fair fr I'm not saying the others are not good projects but placing a Fintech classical type service over this is js 😂😂😂 I mean😂😂😂😂 Life's not fair gng 💔

Post-1 FUNDAMENTALS OF DATABASE Databases Are Not Storage Systems (And Never Were) Most people, including experienced developers, are subconsciously convinced that a database is “a place where data lives. This is a fundamentally flawed belief, and one which the book sorts out in a way that most modern tutorials never do. A database system exists to deal with states of reality over time. Elmasri doesn’t define a database as “data.” He defines it as a model of a miniworld an intentionally restricted, conventionally delineated piece of the real world. Why this matters: - Your system is not storing users It's caching assumptions about identity - Not orders, but contracts Legal and temporal rather than transaction commitments This is why: Changing business rules breaks databases -“Just add a column” is never just a column Schema changes are organizational decisions, not technical ones. What realworld fact does your current database fail to represent even though the business depends on it? #DatabaseTheory #SoftwareArchitecture #Backend @pixeldrive
