RestlessOS GSI Project (RLOS)

An independent and unaffiliated GSI fork based on GrapheneOS for Project Treble devices.

RestlessOS aims to preserve many practical privacy, security and usability features from GrapheneOS while remaining compatible with unsupported hardware.

What's included:

Privacy & Security • Sandboxed Google Play (full app sandbox, no special privileges) • Per-app Network and Sensors permission toggles • Storage Scopes and Contact Scopes • Auto-reboot after inactivity • PIN scrambling • Duress PIN • Improved VPN leak blocking • Private screenshots (reduced metadata exposure) • Per-connection MAC randomization • Per-profile user isolation (up to 32 profiles) System Hardening • AOSP Scudo allocator • Hardened app runtime and libc • And many more things!

Hardware limitations

Because RestlessOS is a Generic System Image (GSI), due to hardware limitations some GrapheneOS security features cannot be fully replicated on unsupported devices
