A liter of fuel on a hot day may not weigh the same as a liter on a cold day. Pilots and airlines care about the weight of the fuel, not just the volume, which is why fuel planning is commonly done in kilograms (or pounds in some countries). 🛫 An aircraft and an airplane are not exactly the same thing. The aircraft is taking off with snow on the wing without proper de-icing, which is a deadly misconception. Some snow may fly off, but airflow can't fully clean the wing, and fluffy snow can hide a thin ice crust. Ice distorts the wing, reducing lift and increasing drag, risking uncontrollable stalls.
