Microsoft is about to block some external drives on Windows. Starting in January 2027, Windows will block ReFS-formatted external and removable drives by default. Normal USB drives using NTFS, exFAT or FAT32 are NOT affected. The change mainly hits people using ReFS on external SSDs or HDDs, something Microsoft says was never officially supported. ⚡️Join @tech_zone444 for more tech news ⚡️Click to boost our channel

OpenAI is working on business pages inside ChatGPT, just like Google Business Profile on Google Maps 👀 Right now when you ask ChatGPT about a shop or a brand, it just reads info from the internet. With this, the business owner can make their own official page on ChatGPT and control what it shows. – Owners can claim their business with a "Claim {name} on ChatGPT" button – To prove it's really their business, they log in with Shopify or do an ID check with Persona – They choose what type of business it is – They can add their products list, so ChatGPT can show their products – Photos, logo and cover image are marked "coming soon" So in future, when you ask ChatGPT "best shoe shop near me", it could show official business pages with real details from the owners, just like Google does today. ⚡️Join @tech_zone444 for more tech news ⚡️Click to boost our channel

Meet Heated gaming gloves created by a Japanese company heated gaming gloves designed to keep players’ hands warm without covering their fingers, allowing them to use a controller, keyboard or mouse normally. The design addresses a practical problem for people gaming in cold rooms, where bulky gloves interfere with movement and precision. Keeping the fingers exposed preserves direct contact with the controls, while heating the hands could make longer sessions more comfortable. It’s a small hardware innovation aimed at a specific frustration, adapting warmth to the way gamers actually play rather than asking them to compromise their controls. ⚡️Join @tech_zone444 for more tech news ⚡️Click to boost our channel

Looks like Apple shipped half-baked software with the iPhone Duo. Most third-party apps and games still don't offer a proper full-screen experience. Apple has provided developers with the SDKs and tools to optimize their apps, which is great. But this should have been handled more intelligently at the OS level, just like Android and Samsung do. They don't require every developer or game studio to update their apps just to fit a different screen. The system can automatically scale existing apps to use the available display area. Developers can optimize their UI later, but Apple should have ensured a better out-of-the-box experience from day one. ⚡️Join @tech_zone444 for more tech news ⚡️Click to boost our channel

In reality some brands have been doing this since February. Failure rates of these chips is quite high.
