Father, the day is noisy, and I often reach for one more task, one more scroll, one more way to feel in control. Help me rest in Your presence. Remind me that You are God and are at work even when I stop striving. Teach me to listen with a quiet heart. In Jesus' name, Amen.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”- Psalm 46:10. Let stillness be an act of trust today: pause before your next task and remember that God is present, even when you are not producing.
Take one minute. Sit completely still with both hands resting open on your knees or a table edge. Do not move. Close your eyes and listen for three distinct sounds: a ticking clock, a distant bird, or your own breath. After each one, whisper, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Notice the stillness settling in your chest.

Brennan will be compelled by a subpoena to testify on Oct. 15, 2026, before a federal grand jury sitting in Fort Pierce in Southern Florida, the legal filing shows.
The filing reveals the Justice Department (DOJ) is pursuing two probes, including a far-reaching conspiracy investigation to include “issues at Mar-a-Lago and beyond,” an apparent reference to the 2022 FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago over classified records, and another narrower one related to Brennan’s sworn statements before Congress.
Brennan’s attorney Ken Wainstein revealed the subpoena in a filing in Brennan’s case against the Department of Justice. Brennan has accused Trump’s Justice Department of violating his constitutional rights in pursuit of “phantom criminal conduct.”
